What's been the best decade for gaming?

Late 90's to early 2000's are in my opinion the best times for gaming so it's hard to decide between the 90's and 2000's but I guess I would say late 2000's because I prefer late 2000's to early 90's. I just wish I could chose from 1995-2005.
