When Should I be Looking Into Purchasing a 4K TV?

I'm interested in purchasing a 4K TV soon and I'm not sure when I should be buying it and which ones should I look into? I pretty much want a Samsung, or Sony tv as well. I've enclosed one of the models I'm looking into, possibly 55 or 60 inches. I currently sit about 7ft from my TV as well. Have any of you purchased a 4K TV? Any advice would be nice.

I'm thinking of the possibilities of the PS5 having 4K capabilities and watching ultra HD blu-rays with it. 

My budget is around 1000-1500 as well.

Just get a smart 4k TV right now. If this was 2010-2012, I would say it's useless. However, the prices are getting better and better. I recently bought a 50 inch TV for 800 dollars. The 55/60 inches ranged around $1000-1200

 

Eventually, 4k will become found in more shows, games, and the potential ultra-blu ray player.
