They are grossly under represented in the gameing market right now.

They have pretty much disappeared. It's strange how prominent they were for so long and things have shifted back to 2D platformers. 

Im guessing its much much cheaper to make the 2D ones.

Maybe they just dont have any faith in their ability to recoup the costs.

Which just makes the fact that sony have done a Ratchet & Clank all that much more awesome.
