Sadly this has been my least favourite Neptunia game.

It's not bad per se, it was just supremely disappointing. I was really looking forward to it and it only really turned out 'alright'.

It gets repetitive very quickly. While in a musou game I'm used to the hordes of enemies doing nothing, at least there's always other objectives or things to do. There's literally none of that. It's just mashing away at hordes of brain-dead enemies. It doesn't help that there's no difficulty settings - so to make the game difficult, you have to take on strong missions, where the enemies can kill you in one shot pretty much and you do tiny amounts of damage to them, which isn't fun.

The story was also pretty poor. I mean I know Neptunia stories aren't the best anyway, but the Re;birth games held my interest and even Hyperdevotion Noire was interesting thanks to the legions of side characters they had. This game had none of that, it was just about Famitsu and Dengeki and their stupid stories.

Overall, I can't really recommend it unless the price is low (which I'd imagine is what PC gamers will do anyway, judging by the buying habits of previous games). There's fun to be had but it's not a particularly strong title.
