Maybe MS planned their strategy since a long time, and called the new system XBox One 'cause the name will not change anymore, but they will release a new model, 100% backward compatible with previous XBox, every 3 years, with a more powerful APU inside, more and faster RAM, so that the difference with the PC version will be a lot less evident, and price of the new model will be very competitive, choosing the good compromise Specs/Price.
