He is saying that there are many different avenues open to you when wanting to experience or own a game just like with movies. 

Just because you can play UC1-3 on PS3 and PS4, doesn't really change the fact that there are ppl (probably quite small) who just want to rent and stream it rather than going through the process of having to buy it. Just as there are ppl who do the same with films and don't bother to buy said film physically or digitally. Yet the films become available, at some point, on all those avenues. 

And as it has been said, PSNow is not just a PS console system thing only, it is available outside of the PS console eco-system. 

 

I still can't picture anyone with a Ps3 playing Uncharted through PSNow, outside trying the system out for the first time or comparison videos with the disc-based version. I guess the mobile/blu-ray player streaming thing does make much more sense.
