Perhaps they don't want to be bought or Sony sees it as a waste of time at the moment because they're second party and producing PS4 exclusives anyway.

IIRC they mentioned on Twitter once that The Jarvis Project would be multiplatform. I can't seem to find it anymore, but I'm 99% sure I heard them mention something like that once.
