I don't know exactly what MS have in their mind, but Consoles will be more alive than ever, no way PCs will replace them, for definition. Consoles offer everything to hardcore gamers, casual-hardcore and casual gamers, easy to play, small and cool devices, and multiplatform games which basicly compare well with the PC version running on PCs which has 4 times the raw power and cost so much more. There could be a change in MS strategy, a different XBox, different life cycle, but I don't see XBox dying as a gaming console!
