Again, if PS4 exclusives dont sell well enough to explain PS4's great success.

1: MS turned people off early on with higher price and DRM BS. That gave PS4 momentum its still benefitting from today.

2: X1 is less successful but its exclusives sell comprable to PS4. Its 3rd party where PS4 sells exceptionally more software.

1: No point in arguing that anymore. Of course screw ups benefit the competition.

2: Huh... Halo 5 released on a larger install base and sold far less than Halo 3 did on a smaller install base. Furthermore, 3 of the 5 biggest PS exclusive franchises release this year so what's your point other than saying "my console's exclusives sell better than yours... until May 10th"?

All SCE published PS4 exclusives over 0.5 mill sales (13 games) have a cumulative sale of 25.62 mill.
That's (25.62/13 =) 1.97 mill in avg.

The same amount of Microsoft published XB1 exclusives (13 games) have a cumulative sale of 16.68 mill.
That's (16.68/13 =) 1.28 mill in avg.
