It, theoretically seems like a no-brainer for Nintendo to succeed with their killer 1st party and killer top tier 3rd parties like Naughty Dog, Bungee, Bethesda, etc. But what I'm wary of is how the gaming world will accept this new Nintendo. Would they really jump ship from Sony's insanely strong PS4 at a heartbeat just to be able to play Nintendo and 3rd parties on the same console? I mean, yeah it sounds like a win-win situation but brand loyalty is strong in electronics. I don't think Nintendo could, without trouble, regain the succcess it had with the NES, SNES, N64 or even GameCube. That being said, if Nintendo were to make a move to validate and cement their willingness to respect the needs of 3rd party developers, it has to be now, it has to be NX. Their consoles are slowly fading into obscurity. but I don't know if they can rebound just by adding 3rd party support alone.
But again if I, personally speaking this time, could get Final Fantasy VX, Dragon Quest XI, Star Ocean V, Street Fighter V, Persona 5, CoD, Destiny, Tales of, Tomb Raider, Half Life, etc. AND Mario, Zelda, Pokemon, Donkey Kong, Kirby, Pikmin, Smash, Mario Kart, etc. on the same console, I'd only need one: the Nintend one. This is how I believe Nintendo could rebound.
