Here's the real problem no one gives a damn about:

There's boomer welfare programs that serve that generation's interest above those of Gen X and Y. Big part of it are things like "Social Security" - which pays out to even the wealthiest Americans over 60. As a social safety net, it's not going to be there the poor and indigent who frankly really will need it for the rest of their lives. Other nation's young people are feeling the weight of these pension programmes.
