http://www.pcgamer.com/thimbleweed-park-story-trailer-spotlights-murder-in-a-strange-town/

A new trailer for Thimbleweed Park, the deliciously Lucasarts-like retro-adventure being developed by Maniac Mansion creators Ron Gilbert and Gary Winnick, has made its way to the 'tubes. And I am here to tell you that it is good.

The final two heroes to join Gearbox's Battleborn lineup have been revealed as a mad scientist in a hovering chair named Kleese, and a “space luchador with cybernetic arms” who calls himself El Dragón.

BALDUR'S GATE: SIEGE OF DRAGONSPEAR WILL BE OUT AT THE END OF THE MONTH

http://www.pcgamer.com/baldurs-gate-siege-of-dragonspear-will-be-out-at-the-end-of-the-month/

Baldur's Gate: Siege of Dragonspear was originally envisioned as a small expansion to Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition, the Beamdog-built update to BioWare's seminal D&D CRPG. But it quickly grew into a sprawling experience of its own, with unique characters, quests, open-world areas, and an estimated 35 hours of play time, covering the gap between the triumph of Baldur's Gate and the unexpectedly unhappy kickoff of Baldur's Gate 2. Beamdog said late last year that it would be out in early 2016, and it has now nailed that down to March 31—less than a month away.

BLIZZARD TEASING NEW HEARTHSTONE SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT COMING NEXT WEEKEND

http://www.pcgamer.com/blizzard-teasing-new-hearthstone-special-announcement-is-coming-next-weekend/

Technically, this is the announcement of a future announcement, but we'll let it slide because it's about time we had some insight into what to expect from Blizzard next set of wizard poker cards. We're told big news will be made at the Hearthstone Winter Championship taking place next weekend. Lead Designer Ben Brode and Senior Producer Yong Woo will make a special announcement about what's next—which presumably means details of the next card set, due to go live alongside the upcoming Standard format sometime in spring.

RISING STORM 2: VIETNAM TRAILER SHOWS OFF FIRST IN-GAME FOOTAGE

http://www.pcgamer.com/rising-storm-2-vietnam-trailer-shows-off-first-in-game-footage/

Rising Storm 2: Vietnam—the sequel to PC Gamer's Multiplayer Game of the Year 2013—shifts the authentic, asymmetrical action from the Pacific Theater of World War 2 to the Vietnam war. Naturally, that means jungles, choppers, and '60s rock and/or roll. Rising Storm 2's newest trailer debuted at the ongoing PC Gamer Weekender, and features all of those things in abundance, in addition to our first glimpse of the game in action. And, what do you know, it's looking pretty good. The lighting, textures and animation all seem improved over the first game, and it's looking like you'll be able to call in airstrikes on your enemies too.

MOMODORA: REVERIE UNDER THE MOONLIGHT LOOKS LOVELY, IS OUT NOW

http://www.pcgamer.com/momodora-reverie-under-the-moonlight-looks-lovely-is-out-now/

It's been a pleasure watching the Momodora series evolve over the years, from simple Cave Story-ish platformers, to more unique action-platform games featuring increasingly beautiful pixel art. You can grab the first two, entirely free, games here, plus the very cheap third game that released two years ago. The fourth Momodora hit Steam the other day, and it looks a right treat.

THE OVERWATCH RELEASE DATE MAY HAVE SLIPPED OUT

http://www.pcgamer.com/the-overwatch-release-date-may-have-slipped-out/

If a set of screengrabs are to be believed, May has just become a bit busier with the release of Overwatch. Redditor Deadpoolthegreat claims to have snapped some ads giving away the big day that appeared briefly on the IGN site. Both mobile and desktop ads suggest that Overwatch will be with us May 24, with early open beta access for pre-orderers beginning May 3.

BEAR SIMULATOR ENTERS PERMANENT HIBERNATION

http://www.pcgamer.com/bear-simulator-enters-permanent-hibernation/

Bear Simulator, which was fed on $100,000 Kickstarter cash after requesting $30,000, is being put to sleep. Unlike many light-hearted Kickstarter sims, however, the update announcing its demise comes over honest, honourable and sad, if a little naive.
