This is tough. Beyond's outlandish supernatural bent made me happy, but it also made me wish it was more gamey and less linear, especially the stealth military parts. I was fairly satisfied with Heavy Rain for what it was. I had far more issues with jumping from character to character in Heavy Rain than the fractured timeline of Beyond.
Guess it comes down to graphics and voice acting, and Beyond wins there easy.
