Getting to the centre of the universe seems to be the most cited aspect of the game's endgame that has spanned over 2 years worth of information so far. Without buiulding anything, the game is merely about trading and exploring generated planets. Completely self generated, not hand crafted to fit with an actual story mind you.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
