I don't get it. Would have absolutely no issue with a female Machamp or a male Gardevoir or anything else. Actually a female Machamp if anything would be kind of cool. But no, I basically pay no attention to the genders except when it matters for breeding.
Edit: And no, giving gender exclusivity to most Pokémon to reinforce gender stereotypes would be incredibly dumb.
