Well these days I just hide my wires on the other side of the case (which is technically behind the mobo on the other side where no one will see my shoddy work), cable ties also come in a lot handier than not using any.
Well for me I'm only upgrading every now and then because I want to and get a more desired build, once I reach that stage I'll likely wait till the enxt big upgrade which should be 5-6 years. Most can just make a build and stick with it for 4-6 years if not longer, trouble with holding out for much longer is that you have to tone down the settings for quite a lot of new games and that is technically your own doing and you'll eventually have to upgrade (Like you have to from an old gen of a console to a new one as old hardware becomes obsolete over time).
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
