A small change to Law 12 (Triple Punishment) has been made with a 2 year trial:

Other rule changes and experiments agreed upon:

  • The ball will be able to move in any direction from the kick-off rather than only moving forward (Law 8)
  • A player who is injured by a challenge punished by a yellow/red card can now have a quick assessment/treatment on the field rather than having to leave the field (Law 5)
  • Live experiments with the video referee for a minimum of 2 years, these experiments are to be implemented at the latest for the 2017/18 season.
  • Experiments with a 4th substition in extra time.

All changes come into effect on June 1st.

Not sure I understand the print screen, but the typo is obvious.

On those other rules, the kick-oof going forward doesn't matter but in a way, it doesn't matter so much, why change it? Stick to some tradition.

2nd point makes sense, players condition should be the main concern.

Video replays, about time even if it is years off.

And extra sub? No. I like the idea that someone might save a super sub for extra time that may never come, it's the risk and should stay as is.

Hmm, pie.
