Makes a $60 purchase seem less worthwhile when I have to fork over another in just a few months. And in the worst cases, sports games, where years ago the excuse was updating rosters, which is no longer the case. With many of these games they simply switch around the menus, swap features between modes and add a new soundtrack and slap the next year on the cover.
