They can tempt me if they put a 4k blu-ray player in there, as that is on my to buy list. Those only very recently came out and cost $400, so it would be unlikely. Plus there is nothing in it for MS, they're much more interested in streaming. But sure, if I can have an XBox One built into a 4k blu-ray player for the same price, I'll bite.
My guess for a XBox One Elite is a bigger hdd perhaps even 2tb ssd/hdd hybrid. Yet nothing that would effect games beyond a bit less pop up and better load times from the faster hdd.
More likely is a cheaper version without optical drive, smaller, perhaps even with the power adapter inside. Nice cheap to produce mass market device with keyboard/mouse support running windows 10 UWP. The only box you need when you go to college, windows productivity software will work on it and synch with your windows phone etc.
