You should read what I said again, the xperia Z was NOT trashed by the reviews. Most SONY's attempts at making a good smartphone fell short, until the Xperia Z was introduced. 

I only added more links. I was mistaken. I misread your post. Yes, Xperia Z received mostly positive reviews from critics.
