I VR is the new TV. Its a differnt way to consume media and its going to eventually have as big a impact as the TV did.
Maybe Im over estimateing it, but I feel like alot of people are grossly doing the same the other way around.

50 years from now, I wouldnt be surprised if every member of a family inside their house, all had their own VR headset.

Like how today, many houses have multiple TVs (one for each room more or less).

Well TV brought people together in the living room. Cellphones seem to remove that togetherness and you want VR to close people from the real world... hop not. What I'm refering to is not VR but AR but I get your point. To me not interacting with the real world is the worst thing unless you are in a room where you are alone and not needed.
