It's also potentially dangerous for NVidia if those Doom benches are correct. I mean, Titan getting it's ass kicked by a Radeon 7950? GeForce 980Ti on the same level as a Radeon 280X? Doom clearly shows how much optimisations can matter.

It's more of an obvious case of what seems like some sort of usual Gameworks situation in reverse - there's no chance in hell that a card like 280X (or 290X while we're at it) can compete with 980Ti.
