Because 2ds did so well. Because in Japan 3ds didn't kill everything this gen, etc

How are kids casuals?  kids are some of the most if not most hardcore gamers.  They have the most time to game and usually do. 

 

My point is these guys are getting their fix from iPhones,  Samsungs,  tablets etc in the mobile sphere now and in the console space the xbox,  pc or PS satisfy them.
