I mean not so much that honestly as much as I can't bring myself to start new files because I'm still not used to Bank existing. I have sentimental attachment to my files. Well...until I traded in my near-complete HeartGold cart with all my pokes from LG and Platinum (something like 70 level 100s) and some wonderful other ones I got in that playthrough. Still not sure why I did that, but somebody else surely went on to enjoy that copy so I don't regret it much. But I digress. 

 

I'll probably Nuzlocke Yellow when I get it on VC because why not, I have no real need to complete it since I've done so before. 

Oh yeah, that makes sense. That's why I try to do these with fresh new games. Once that main file is established, it's really hard to ever start a new one on that card : X
