Nah Bush/Cheney/Graham/McCain aren't any better to be honest. The Tea Party was a reaction to them. Ironically enough, despite his appeal to the bad traits of the Tea Party (nationalism) Trump is a moderate like Bush/Cheney/Graham/McCain.
The Republican party needs to become libertarian/classically liberal or it should die and let something else take its place. Their social conservativism, religious zealotry, and protectionism aren't popular among young people and it really cuts into their numbers.
