with eye tracking it's possible to reduce workload by a lot as only a small part of the whole screen has to be rendered in high quality > higher res display/ higher fidelity games

 I can't help feeling that Kinect would be awesome for VR tracking. 

well, leap motion seems to work really nicely with the new update, but the Kinect thats on the market right now afaik is too slow for imidiate/super low latency hand/body tracking
