Amiibo content was one of those not available in game that got available as "more content" to add to that "3x more content" the game got.
Which is not relevant when it's taken as a bad side of the 'more content' you have praised later.

Amiibo, as I say, is like a 1% of the content of the game, it makes you replay som of the same missions you have already played with a different weapon, it is not worth the price and it doesnt add anything relevant to the game at all, however 3 times more maps, weapons, gear and modes made a huge difference, the amiibo didnt, at all. That's why I said that the complains about amiibo are an excuse, because the added content was lame in quantity and quality, the free updates however were huge, a new map is already 10 times better than what all 3 amiibo unlocked.
