That the limited amount of core games on the Wii are suspect and less appealing towards hardcore gamers than the one on PS3/360? Unless you're blind or biased, you should be able to figure that one out by yourself. 2. So, Capcom, Square Enix, Konami, Tecmo, Ubisoft, Crystal Dynamics, InfoGrames, Monolith, EA, Namco, Chunsoft, THQ, and High Voltage (the developers of those listed games) are all non-credible developers? Well, I guess the PS3 is pretty much fucked, then... unless you mean to say that they're 'incredible' Publishers =/= developers Madworld= Platinum games/clover, Monster Lab= Backbone entertainment, Tales of Symphonia= team symphonia (hopefully), disaster= Monolith (JP studios), Skate it= Black box, final fantasy crystal chronicles: crystal bearers= Toshiyuki Itahana, fatal frame 4= Sudo51, Conduit= high voltage, Deadly creatures= Rainbow Studios, Red steel= Ubisoft Paris, Fragile= tri-Crescendo, shiren the wanderer= chunsoft. Monster Hunter 3= capcom studio 1. The red developers have little credibility to be excited about their upcomming games and blue developers do have a good history, keep in mind though, I'm not saying that those games are going to fail or suck by any means, just saying that they haven't shown enough to be pitted against other AAA core titles on the 360/ps3. Of the blue list, many games have not gotten a solid release date for Japan (if those games will reach the U.S is another story in itself), this includes Monster Hunter 3, Fatal Frame 4, Fragile, and Red Steel 2. Skate It is pratically a port with Wii controls and FFCC:CB could very well be geared towards casual gamers like the previous Wii DQ. Add that with the fact that the Xenosaga games were awful and Baiten Kaitos was pretty much a cardgame, The point that Monolith (JP) is developing Disaster (the action game) doesn't look to promissing IMO aswell. Like I said, it looks like a bunch of question marks, even more so compared to the PS3/360 lineup. 3. The only point I see here is that people will buy quality games and leave shitty ones out. Do we disagree on this or something? The only points that I'm making is that: a. core games =/= good core games b. That list does not look nearly as impressive as the 2008 lineup on PS3/Xbox360 . |
