It was headed that way once far cry 3 became, assasins creed the shooter. It was still good but, as someone who loved far cry 2, it lost a bit of the charm and became too gamey. Seeing how 4 turned out we can likely assume 5 will also be more of the same.
Id anything I'd applaud ubisoft for allowing primal and blood dragon too occur. To me they're more interesting than the likely predictable 5, even if they don't sell as well or score as well
