I'm all about Dark Souls' off-kilter soundtrack of unsettling wails and mournful tinkling, but perhaps this one is a little too out-there. Still, it's not the worst rendition of Cyndi Lauper's True Colors to be produced I'm sure, and the footage is most interesting.

Forge, a new, free app designed to simplify the process of capturing and sharing gameplay videos, went into open beta today. And even though it's still technically in a pre-release state, I've played with it a bit, and it really works quite well.

More information about the changes coming to Fallout 4's Survival Mode have appeared on Reddit, thanks to the datamining efforts of a user by the name of ShaneD35. According to what he's found, Survival Mode will ensure that you die sooner, faster, more often, and for more reasons than ever before.

 

ODDWORLD: MUNCH'S ODDYSEE IS GETTING A NEW PORT

Originally a launch title for the first Xbox, Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee has been on Steam since 2010. While it's probably little more than an interesting keepsake in the Oddworld series, the PC version is reportedly a very shoddy port. A quick scan of the Steam reviews paints a pretty grim picture: apparently for some users the game just doesn't work, with frequent crashes and other game breaking bugs reported.

 

LEAGUE OF LEGENDS NOW HAS A SMARTPHONE APP

Sometimes you need to step away from the PC and get some fresh air, which is hard because then you can't play video games. Riot Games is aware of this conundrum and has worked to make it a bit easier, with the release of a special League of Legends smartphone application called League Friends.

The team behind Punch Club are incorrigible crowd-pleasers, which is fitting for a game about managing a shady boxing ring and part-time vigilante revenge quest. First they invited Twitch to beat the game as one to unlock it on Steam early. Now, they've announced a free expansion to arrive on March 8: The Dark Fist.
