Oxide Games has launched a new Beta of Ashes of the SIngularity which includes EMA support. EMA stands for "Explicit Multi-Adapter" which is the ability to mix two different GPUs (2xNvidia, 2xAMD or AMD+Nvidia).

Logically, a lot of sites have jumped in to test the current cards under DX 12 in both single and multiple GPU configurations:

In summary:

1-AMD cards benefit the most from DX12, with Nvidia having little benefit or even performing a bit worse.

2-The game is VERY CPU depending. Anandtech saw bottlenecks at 4K and High Quality settings when in multi-card configurations despite using an i7-4960X.

3-When mixing GPUs, the choose of a leading card is important (FuryX + 980Ti > 980Ti + FuryX), and it's advisable to mix cards with similar performance.
