It is not. I would have to have a *new* PSU, meaning I would have one lying around. Same goes for a new case, add to that I would have to buy new cooling. And I would have to buy a new GPU which also adds a lot of cost and I would need to do more gaming in my bureau room as I don't have my PC in my living room. So no, no matter how smart choices you made for *you*, this doesn't convince me to re-invest in my beefy work PC to do my gaming there, ever again. I know where you are coming from, I also was a PC gamer 15 years ago but time has changed and so my preferences and the way I want to spend my free-time. |
I was just giving you examples on how you don't have to overspend to upgrade or build a new rig. You remind me exactly of myself 5 years ago, a person who was always tried to find a reason or way to say they didn't want to game on PC, eventually as time went on and learning along the way, things changed.
You don't even need to invest in a "beefy work PC" at all to game on the platform, but having an ancient stone tablet isn't going to get you along with general advances in technology.
Time changes a lot of things (this I know plenty of) but it should change your perspective and knowledge, that alone shouldn't stay static for years and years like your current PC.
Other thing I'd like to ask, did you epr chance step in for the other fellow because you felt you needed to based on your now given stance?.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
