Oh, it could be. The developers explicitly stated that this is a possibility. And it would still look absolutely awesome.

But for reasons that are simultaneously subtle and obvious, some people don't want to admit that their console of choice isn't capable of handling every game ever made on the highest possible settings.

 eh..... no it could not, only if the ps3 and 360 get a new direcxt10 compatible graphicscard. which is never gonna happen. the xbox360 however is already compatible with direcxt10 to a certain extant, the 360 is somewhere between directx9 and 10 (they call it directx 9.5).
