I honestly don't know.

I'm lucky enough to not notice most of those problems (like tearing and lag, stuttering is another thing), so I haven't looked much about them.

I noticie them for a good number of games that don't have good v-sync options, when I have to use CP V-sync then I'll notice frame lag (frame stuttering), this msotly goes for games like GTA V, Dying Light etc. Of course if I don't use any form of V-sync then I'm definitely going to see tearing.
