I'm not surprised, while the demo was fun. it felt like the game lacks a decent combo system and relies mainly on having lots of characters to play as each with basically a 3-4 move set. I would have much rathered they put in effort into 3-4 characters with 9-10 movesets that you unlock as you progress.
Still, I hope the delay isn't just a time delay to get more pre-orders and hopefully they listen to some of the feedback and add some depth to the game(Obviously the demo is not a full representation of the game).
