Maybe it is a bit high, but looking at the PS4 lineup this year I can count at least 11 games I'd consider good from Jan-July. That's only 1 off 2 per month which could potentially be made up for in the 2nd half of the year. Of course different people may have different definitions of a 'good' game. But hey, I'm only talking from my own perspective. For me to consider something good it has to be at least above average and 3 good games a year simply isn't above average. Maybe that number will be higher by the end of the year, you'd expect at least Zelda U to release so that would make it 4. But what else will there be? Given that Nintendo's focus will likely be on NX games now regardless of whether it's a 2016 or 2017 release I don't expect there will be that much more. |
I'm not expecting that much more from Nintendo during 2016. I personally don't think there was any year where I had more than 10 games I was really itching to play. I would still agree that the current 2016 lineup for Wii U is okay at best.
