Or, I can have a PC to play PC games on and a PS4/Nintendo to play games that I can't get on PC.
It's always seemed like a no brainer for a PC gamer to have something other than Xbox as a secondary platform, because going PS/Ninty gives a much larger range of games that are available to you. In terms of volume Ninty is surely the way to go for a secondary console as there is very little crossover. But PS exclusives are also sufficiently numerous provide for a broad library.
