Oh quite a few things.
First of all, as most know by now, I'm a PC gamer first. My friends were doing everything they could to convince me to buy an Xbox because of Halo. They kept telling me console FPSes were the future blah blah blah. So I bought an Xbox with Halo 2, got on Xbox live, and within an hour my ears burned from cussing todlers and racist BS.
So, after that I rarely ever got online in Halo 2 again. I despised the analog controls that everyone else praised anyway. I looked for other games to buy to entertain me. I bought Ninja Gaiden which lasted me all of 20 more hours. Bought Fable which lasted me another 12 hours. Everything else I'd already played, or was on PC.
So within a month of buying my Xbox I sold it and all the games with it to my friend. Never looked back. I have never seen a console with so few games worth playing. Especially so few exclusives. The 360 has a similar issue, where I'm getting most 360 games worth playing in far better versions on PC.
Oh, and Xbox Live offers nowhere near the kind of online service you get for free on PCs.
