Considering that everyone who has posted so far has felt the need to specify that they support equality rather than just 'feminism' that's obviously not true. Regardless of what it used to mean or was intended to mean, things change over time. Although the fact that it comes from the word 'feminine' would imply that it was only ever concerned with women in the first place anyway.

Of course it was only concerned with women, since they had less rights and needed equalizing.
