Microsoft has a strategy and it is clear. Supporting both platforms to reach as much customers as possible. Many people will always prefer to own home consoles anyways regardless of PC library. Consoles are convenient, cheap investment, and the standard of the market.
Now, feel free to criticize that strategy of MS. But don't turn the topic into an excuse to attack Xbox. Especially if you are not interested in it in the first place.
