That was funny after seeing how much he flipped out about games like Battlefront and Evolve for issues SFV is much guiltier of. Someone said it earlier in the thread and I agree, it's bizarre seeing all this trust and good will people are putting towards Capcom to deliver on all this stuff they are promising in a timely and free manner. I mean, it's fucking Capcom. |
Yeah, he was so forgiving he called the game a huge disappointment at the moment, not worth getting at full price right now, and encouraged people to wait until March or June. Oh, and also told apologists for the game to shut up very early on. Yeah, super forgiving.
Seriously, actually listen to what he says. Oh and Evolve launched with significantly less content than SFV in many areas (seriously, think about that) and intended to sell every single piece for inflated prices, all of which was up for sale at launch and the majority cannot be obtained by any other means. And Battlefront launched with crappy preorder benefits, severe lack of content, and a $40 season pass. All of which was announced at launch. He got livid then cause it was confirmed. He isn't going to foam at the mouth over hypothetical rip offs.
Seriously people, my word, he does everything we always demand these critics to do. He warns the game is lacking content, is disappointing at this moment, isn't worth the price tag as is, and encourages people to wait all without jumping on the bandwagon of people giving it a 1 to 4 (seriously folks, play Ride to Hell or Two Worlds or Mind Jack before you give this any of those scores). Isn't that what we want, detailed honesty? He gives credit where do and criticizes hard where needed.
