Apples and oranges.  Halo's issues were more than just the micro transactions, it was the way they effected specific modes.  Also, Halo had other problems he criticized equally.  And Godzilla was not a problematic game it was a pile of complete garbage.

This is a game or very high quality content lacking in quantity.  Trust me, if Capcom goes back on its free content promise, you'll get the same level of vitriol as he had at the SFV exclusivity announcement.

Fine, but what about Battlefront. Similar scenario. Great gameplay, but no content. And the game should be judged by what's here now, not whats coming later (which was the same for all the other games I talked about).

Well Angry Joe has never been shy about saying his reviews reflect his opinions and as stated in his Battlefront review, he felt the gameplay was far weaker than previous entries.  Even weaker than other shooters of recent times.  Whereas Street Fighter V he feels has the best gameplay of any SF.  Also, for Battlefront the lacking content is more detrimental in some areas.  For example, the severe lack of maps in Battlefront hurts that game more than the lack of stages in SFV.  That's just the nature of the genre.  In fighting games, the 1 on1 fighting mechanics and the quality of the roster are the heart of the game.  And as he said, those mechanics are excellent and the fighters are good but the roster a bit small.  And in the rant video he does say the game is disappointing, the rushed release was a mistake, and that the game right now isn't worth the asking price.  I don't know what you want from him.

Also, free content is going to make him less angry than a $110 deluxe version and a $40 season pass (Battlefront).  That's just duh.
