30 vs 60 fps - can you really see the difference?

Right is definitely 60fps, but there are comparisons that are much more noticeable then this one, also on my phone I couldn't tell even though it was set to 720p,60fps. Played it on my PC and was immediately noticeable.

Try going from Ratchet Nexus (30fps) back to Ratchet Crack in Time (60fps) my mind was blown.
