^ I don't see why that would be the case, unless you've never bought any other Nintendo console ever (or at least nothing since the SNES).
Their first-party output is and always has been great, and it's the main reason to buy a Nintendo console. On that front, the Wii U is one of their best efforts. Third-party support is welcomed, but it's not something Nintendo have been able to get consistently for over 20 years.
As for the NX thing, nothing you're saying there is rooted in fact. Unless you have some source you're not telling us about, like a surefire leak from 4chan or something.
