Might very well be that something similar is happening with MS and the 360. They could boost the sales a lot by cutting prices, but would much rather make some money for once, ever if the PS3 is catching up, and the Wii soon reaching the stratosphere.

well it's sonys fault ,because they produce console which even on launch was priced more than 200$ under production cost and now it is still too expensive for most people even after huge price cut few months ago.  they should make console just like nintendo production cost are pretty low and thanks to that they can profit on every console they will sell.
