By the time it comes,out the controversy will be years on the past and Kojima has games which sold very well, for any exclusive game to sell above that it has to be because of the game strengths itself, there won't be 6M people buying it on 2018+ just because Kojima had this issue with Konami in 2015.

The game definitely has to have a lot of hype around it's qualities for that to happen.

I think you underestimate the kojima fanbase
