In the past decade immigration from Mexico has not been the issue it was for the thirty years prior. Not sure what building a wall would do at this point.

Exactly. It's just something conservatives talk about because they're mostly racist. They want the wall because they don't like Mexicans. They want to close mosques and deport Muslims because they hate Muslims. Everything they come up with is an excuse to justify their hatred for people.

Yes - Hatred for people,  excuses for hatred that's exactly what it must be.  Get real and start using your brain to think critically before jumping to '-isms' at every turn.

Immigrants come from not only Mexico (Shocking I know)  but more frequently are coming from all other central american countries.   Which is something, this little infographic does not explain.  In addition to that,  you are acting as if 140,000 net immigrants less across (5) years suddenly would make this still not a major concern or issue?

At 450-500k immigrants per year (Estimated) ....across 5 years you're saying there still is over 400,000 'Mexican' immigrants (Not counting anything else) flooding into the country.  In (10 years) at the rate of 400,000 illegal immigrants, you will have 8,000,000 illegal immigrants not counting their children.  With a population of close to 319 million,  the United States population would tangibly be made up of 2 - 3% illegal immigrants.  This is not even including the past how many years of illegal immigration.

The sheer influx of low education, low income population that will be willing to work for less than a low income, low education, US citizen worker.   What do you think the net result is to the lower income US citizens?

You should favor legal immigration or an expansion of legal immigration where high education, highly desirable people are working hard to get into this country the right way, legally.
