I've been playing Street Fighter V for the past few days and so far, the game play is great. It has a very different feel from SF IV, so it will take a while to get used to, and as time goes on, players will probably evolve the way we approach the game.

For those unsure about getting the game, I'll be honest, it might not be worth it right now if you're a casual SF or fighting game player, or if you're new to the franchise. SF V has a basic story mode, versus mode, survival mode, training room, battle lounge, and ranked/casual match modes at launch. So if you're looking for a trial/challenge mode or a more in-depth story mode, then you'll probably want to hold off until later.

On the other hand, for hardcore SF fans (i.e., people who play competitively and research game play on their own), you probably already have the game since it has all of the essentials.

Capcom clearly wanted to get this game out to the current fanbase (for tournaments), which might cost them poorer reviews and new players, but the game is being marketed as a service for the rest of the generation, so it can potentially pick up new players as updates are added and tournaments bring in more fans.
