Ahh I understand now. I can agree with what you are saying for sure.

Let me continue where you left off.

It is possible to enjoy a game, but also feel like the value is not fully there. In that case it would be a source of worry because the value is reducing over time and it could show a trend in the industry, the trend being that of microtransactions in fully paid games. To me, it's as worrisome as DRM, and that cost MS the gen.

It would not stop me from buying the game, but I would buy it with concerns.

This. I played it last night I did enjoy it to an extent but yes I could see the value was not there. Like I said before though with a game like this I want it released as quickly as possible and I can wait for the rest. It needs to be free though if they're charging $60 which it is. Also Capcom already stated everything will be avaliable via playing the game so I'm not to worried about that.

At the end of the day doing this is a huge risk for any gaming company because it puts them in a position where reviews could be really bad and users could stop playing before all the content is released. I think Capcom did it anyways because 1. It's Street fighter 2. It's a competition based game so they have the comps to hold them afloat and 3. They'll rely on the word of mouth to let people know the new content is much better once it's released.
