I was thinking that might happen too, but it seems it will be applified by other hardware coming out this year as well.

could go the other way too.  if they launch in comparible time frames all articles written about the nx and psvr will probably mention the other platform is also launching.  it's fluff but still something journalists do pretty regularly.
